Are you balance or imbalance?

Since I got into the arts and design world, I changed my point of view of every moment I live. I see people, plants, streets, buildings, everything you can think about that regularly goes across your eyes, as shadows, lines, points and figures. I believe that sometimes we forget we are seeing things most of our lives; we just live in that rush of commitments and responsibilities without realizing what is surrounding us. So, I decided some time ago to focus on start actually looking, not just seeing.
But, what is the point of looking without analysing? Also, to analyse, I need to know how to put those expressions in words. I need to know concepts so I can express what I see, what I like and what I don’t like that much.
Then, how to describe a design, without talking about balance? How to talk about balance without talking about negative space and points of interest? And last but not least, one of the pillars of design: tone. Those four are the concepts that I am going to start researching more about to finally and 100% understand their meaning.
